Junior Campus

Across Years 7-10, the curriculum is designed to provide rich learning experiences across a range of areas and to equip students with a suite of preparatory and critical skills that will enable them to make objective decisions about their studies and succeed in their senior years.

Lessons are differentiated so that all students can experience success in their learning. There is a focus on English, Maths, Science and Humanities. This is complemented with elective opportunities to study sport, music, technology and AUSLAN.

The curriculum also incorporates the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) and Building Respectful Relationships (BRR) programs to support students in developing essential social and emotional skills. Students build resilience, learn to value diversity, and develop the knowledge and skills needed to form positive, respectful relationships. These programs play a key role in fostering a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment where all students can thrive.

In Year 10, the focus on personal growth is integrated into the weekly Pastoral Care classes “Careers, Transitions and Resilience”. These classes not only enhance students’ interpersonal skills but also educate them about various future pathways and career options. This approach ensures that students develop into well-rounded individuals. The increasing demands on learning are met within a supportive environment that fosters both academic and personal growth.
